- In this role, The Transfusion Sales Executive , based in Kenya is responsible for driving sales efforts for Transfusion solutions and optimizing Abbott systems utilization to maximize Market share, profitability and improve customer satisfaction.
Major Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for sales quota including forecasting and target performance achievement within the region.
- Drive profitable growth by initiating, developing and/or delivering unique transfusion solutions that result in improved outcomes and benefits for both the customer and Abbott
- Develop sales planning for own area of responsibility.
- Manage and drive the development of their accounts, including key activities such as: strategic account management, post-sales implementation process, pipeline management, opportunity management and territory management with minimal oversight.
- Analyze sales, market and competitive data to develop sales strategy.
- Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers.
- Support new product launches, evaluate market potential
- Execute programs and campaigns for defined Transfusion customers.
- Monitor, measure and report progress against defined execution goals.
- Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to drive profitable new sales.
- Optimize Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction.
- Support service team to maximize uptime by providing troubleshooting as appropriate.
- Success in this role is measured by economic profitability, sales quota, contract renewal rate, win rate of new customers, and customer satisfaction score (NPS)
- The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average three days per week
Education, Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in medical, life sciences or medical technology is preferred.
- Good Diagnostics product and industry knowledge.
- Candidates must be fluent in English; any additional languages are advantageous.
- 3-5 Years of experience.
